Presidential Campaigns: Propaganda
Presidents used a lot of different propaganda to persuade people to vote for them and support them. Franklin D. Roosevelt and Herbert Hoover used posters, radiio, buttons, television and many other types of media to encourage people to support them.
Franklin D Roosevelt was the 32nd president in 1933. Some of his famous slogans were him saying "for a new deal" because he created the new deal to help people get jobs and to get out of the Great Depression.
Herbert Hoover was the 31st president in 1928,eighth months after he got elected for president the stock market crash of 1929 occured.
He wanted Americans to know they would thrive if he was to become the president. After World War I, his campaign was based on the Republican record of prosperity.
